The Nordic Open Championship ring

From trophy to jewellery.

The first ever official Nordic Open championship ring

Nordic Open celebrates this year’s winner with a championship ring by Cornelia Webb.

Drawing inspiration from the championship rings of American sports leagues, the BNP Paribas Nordic Open tennis tournament has partnered with Cornelia Webb to design its very first official championship ring.

This piece of jewellery will be awarded to the tournament winner on Sunday, the 19th of October.

A minimalistic version of the championship ring is available for purchase.

In addition to the winner’s ring, a limited number of championship rings, crafted in recycled 925 sterling silver, will be made available to the public. This version features no stone, but instead a classic metal head, available in both polished and brushed finishes.

These rings will be custom-created in Skultuna, Sweden, and delivered within 2-3 weeks in the official wooden box.

To customise your ring, add monogram engraving and diamonds further down this page.

Highlighting craft and origin

Just as thoughtful as the choice of material is the attention to detail in the ring’s craftsmanship.

Instead of hiding the hallmarks, traditionally placed discreetly on the inside, Webb has chosen to highlight them as a visible and integral part of the design.

They reflect not only the ring’s authenticity and origin but also the artisanal character of the sport:

St Erik symbol – location mark, Stockholm.

C12 – year mark, 2025.

925 – material, Sterling silver.

CW – trademark stamp, Cornelia Webb.

- I wanted to create a piece of jewellery to become a wearable version of the trophy,

naturally fitting into everyday life.

To me, tennis is about elegance, discipline, and movement – and I wanted the ring to
reflect exactly that,
says Cornelia Webb.

Porphyry - Sweden’s diamond.

The choice of material carries a strong connection to the tournament’s history. Swedish porphyry stone, sourced from a quarry in Älvdalen, is the same material used for the classic trophy designed by King Carl XVI Gustaf.

Often referred to as “Sweden’s diamond,” porphyry is not only the official stone of Dalarna, but also a symbol of Swedish nature, tradition, and strength.
