Broadening the perspective of what can be defined as a piece of jewellery, Cornelia has created an emerald encrusted cup in Sterling silver. With a price tag of 40 000 SEK it sits in the same seat as our customized wedding and engagement rings.

Sprung from same DNA as when doing metal dresses back in 2006, Cornelia again wanted to redefine what a piece of jewellery can look like and how we can interact with it. Should a precious stone only be worn - or also tasted?

Created for renowned local restaurant and bar Tjoget here in Stockholm, the Mint Julep cup in Sterling silver was molded by hand, and additionally formed by one of the owners hand as a hommage to the craft and what our hands can create.

The cup was also done as a small numbered series of 20 pieces in brass as pierced vases. The brass is recycled from our own jewellery production and is unplated not only to honour the aw material but to make sure it can be entirely circular and recycled again in the future. It also allows you to make your personal mark on the vase from skin imprints, and oxidisation. To tell your own story in your own home with the conditions that exist there.

With the piercing, each vase comes with a single earring, giving new life to single units of earrings instead of being unused in our drawers.

Molded Vase is created for a floral installation, as a sculpture, a piece of jewellery for your home - and for you. The earring pierced on the vase can be worn as a single style on your ear.
